Posted December 12, Hi, It's been a while since I had to use the Receiver Cleanup Utility, but the last time I had to use the "Runas administrator" feature, to get it to cleanup properly.

When the installation is complete, Citrix Workspace app requests that you add an account. For information on how to add an account, see Add accounts or switch servers. You can customize the Citrix Workspace app installer by specifying different command-line options. The installer package self-extracts to the system temp directory before launching the setup program.

The space requirement includes program files, user data, and temp directories after launching several applications. To install the Citrix Workspace app using the Windows command line, launch the command prompt and type the following on a single line:.

Install the workspace app with administrator privileges for this component to work. When I try to uninstall Citrix Workspace , a Citrix Workspace popup is presented and just sits there "Initializing" and the progress bar goes nowhere. I tried to forceinstall, rca, uninstall over cmd, gave the User full permissions to the Citrix installation folder nothing helped.

Any other advices? Same version and i couldn't launch the app. Tried to uninstall but it was not progressing. Ran the Cleanup Utility - says its completed but checked the log. The same issue here, also tried multiple steps. Citrix Workspace is not starting at my machine and it it avoiding my doing my job. Was this version Like others, I get stuck on the "initialization" screen and nothing happens. I ran the Citrix Cleanup utility first.

Any ideas where this version of Citrix Receiver is lurking, and how I can uninstall it? BTW, this all may have started after a Windows update. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.

I have the same question Report abuse. Details required :. I've since rebooted and tried to reinstall it, but it states: Unable to complete the installation. We have detected a previous installation of Citrix Workspace App.
